General rules and discipline : Special attention is given to ensure a high standard of moral values and discipline in the school. Parents and guardians are requested to cooperate with the school authority by ensuring regular attendance and punctuallity of their wards and strict adherence to the rules of the school.
Enlorlment in SANATAN VIDYA NIKETAN implies on the part of the pupil and parents a willingness to comply with the requirements and regulations of the school.
Pupils are expected to behave in a gentlemanly manner on all occasions. They should address all members of the staff with due respect and pokiteness. They must show gentleness and courtesy to their companions. Refinement of manners, uprightness and selfrestraint should be the characteristics of every pupil of the school.
Pupils are responsible for the sage custody of their books and belongings. All belongings should be clearly marked with the child's name.
Pupil shall take utmost care of the school property and premises. Any kind of damage done, even by accident should be reported at once to the Class Teacher/Principal and will be made good by the one who does it.
No pupil may leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal. Permission will be given only on written requests of the parents to the Principal. the observance of this regulations is of vital importance for the safety of the children and for the school discipline.
Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or conducts in contrast to the tone of the school are sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a pupil.
Parents are requested to see that their children attend school punctually and that they are sent for punctually at the school closing time. They are requested to cooperate with school by enforcing regularity, discipline and by taking a general interest in the children's progress. They should check the diary regularly and note the teacher's remarks.
Pupils who have been absent from class or who came late to class must have the reason entered in the regularity record stating briefly the cause of absence or delay ( reasons of a private nature may be submitted in a letter).
Pupils are not allowed to enter any other classes without the permission of the teachers.
Once the student sttends school he / she will not be allowed any short leave.
Parents/ guardians are not allowed to meet their children or try to contact the teachers during class hours without prior permission from principal.
Every child attending the school is obliged to take part in the school's activities.
Parents should immediately visit the school when contacted in case pupils urgently need their parents.
Parents are advised not to send their children to school when they are sick, even during examination. Pupils suffering from contagious or infectious diseases shal not be allowed to attend the school. On attending school agter such illness, they have to produce Medical Fitness Certificate to attend the class.
Students are not allowed to bring mobiles/cell phones to the school.
Morning assembly starts at 7.25 a.m in summer timing and at 8.25 a.m in winter timing. Pupils shoul reach the school at least 5 minutes before the first bell. Late comers should get late attendance record signed by their parents/guardians.
School Uniform and House Uniform must be worn as per schedule. Pupils should be clean and tidy in their person, dress and belongings. All students are expected to have minimum two pairs of fresh uniforms, every year. Girls should have their hair neatly tied with white hair band. Nothing more than ear tops is allowed as ornaments
Those who bring Bicycles should keep them at the place fixed for it and keep it properly locked.
During the absence of the teacher from the class, pupils shall be under the guidance of the class captains. Running about/ playing in class/shouting or disturbing adjacent classes in any form is not allowed.
Exchange of articles or money and transaction between students are not allowed.
